Multilingual Flash Applications
In this session, attendees will learn how to architect Flash® applications to support multiple languages. Robert will discuss how to build flexible language structures that can be read from files or databases. Attendees will also learn how to establish events in order to change language content without reloading the application or refreshing the browser. We will also discuss techniques for applying visual designs around different languages. Finally, learn methods to implementing RTL (Right-to-Left) support for languages such as Arabic and Hebrew.
Browser Power for Flash
Learn to acquire tools that will provide your Flash movie greater browser compatibility for an optimal user experience. Topics include greater browser control, searchable Flash® for SEO, and the utilization of the Flash Player to dynamically enrich HTML. How to use the browser’s history, bookmarking, and several other browser capabilities without external JavaScript will be shown. The session ends with ways to increase Flash’s searchability while increasing standards compliancy.
